I'm finding the dogs a lot easier to read, making about £3-£6 a day on average so far this month, not much I agree, but it is with only £10 stakes and it's more than I make on the horses at the moment.
Since I sorted out my entry points and stopped taking chances I don't often take any big losses. Might be time to up the stakes a bit, maybe even as high as £13!
Scumbag Trader has done a couple of useful videos on The Toy Forum for anyone interested in giving the mutts a try.
Similar strategies to some that I'm using and they do work. If you try them start with small stakes and get a feel for the way the markets form and move. Watch you don't get too greedy or open your trades too early or you WILL get badly bitten!!!
Now that I have a few weeks off work I might be able to get round to doing a few videos myself.
I have been trading over a year now, started February 2009, and although I'm not quite at my original target of £50 a day (which I foolishly thought would be easy when I first started) I have for the most part stopped taking stupid losses and do feel more confident about making a profit these days.

Holiday
I'm now on holiday in Sunny Switzerland for 3 weeks before returning to Ingerland for a ten week contract that should hopefully put enough cash in the bank to allow me to spend the whole of the summer in Spain.
It's a tough life... but someone has to do it...
The bot stakes are still low and will build up only with profits so don't need a big bank.
I'm still sometimes struggling to take losses quickly when I up the stakes in the manual trading, and I needed a bit of spare cash for skiing, so I decided to take most of my money out of betfair and build my bank up from £50 again. If it all goes Pete Tong I have a deposit limit of £10 a month as that will hopefully make me think twice before I let bad trades go badder.

El Mundo en Llamas
I woke up this morning to a £370 increase in my bank
Was slightly interested to see how my bot made so much in the space of 8 hours. So I went into the P&L screen and found it was only showing £20...
Eventually figured out from the account statement page that the £350 that I withdrew last week had been returned.
No idea why, surely it should just say no when I made the withdrawal rather than 5 days later...
Rather than contact BF I've simply removed that card from my account and withdrawn the money out on to my other one. Lucky I wan't needing it in a hurry. Not sure what happens if I can't withdraw to this card though.
Not done any trading today but I did find a video:

Leg is Mended
As you may have noticed by infrequent blog posts, there's not much happening with the trading, I either make a few quid or lose a few quid... it's all a bit part time at the moment due to loads of coaching work and it will continue until June/July when I can go full time trading again for a few months.
Collecting data but there's nothing exciting there to write about either until at least 3-6 months time when I have enough to make some sort of conclusion.
Good news this week, the Physio said my leg is ok for skiing again
As well as the leg exercises and cycling I have been hitting the gym every day for the last week and am now up to 15km a day on the C2 rowing machine, as I want to make sure I'm fit for next week when I'm back in Switzerland.

Day Off
The horse markets were apparently all over the place today, so I guess it may have been a lucky choice of day off...
My bot lost a bit, but that doesn't do horses so it wasn't related.
I had egg and chips for dinner.
